ABOUT ME

I am a person in long term recovery from addiction. I found those early days in recovery lonely and confusing.  I knew I wanted a better life and knew that the pathway forward was recovery. I wish I had known about recovery coaching over 16 years ago!

I did find yoga and meditation. It helped me to slow down, become present to my life and create a more resilient body and mind. Because it helped me so immensely, I certified to teach yoga and specialized in yoga for addiction recovery, mental wellness and PTSD. What a remarkable gift that has been! I have had the opportunity to teach in hospitals, treatment centres and for the Vancouver Fire and Rescue Services as well as for individual private students.

Sometimes we need to talk, though. First training as a professional coach, through Erickson International, I further trained specifically in Recovery Coaching, using the Principles of Recovery Capital as a foundation.

As a recovery coach, my role is to walk side by side with you, to truly listen to you and to assist you in finding your own pathway forward in recovery. Along the way you will discover why that is so important to you and uncover the strengths that you already have to get there.
